The floating swimming pool in the River Spree (Spreebad Mitte) contemplates re-cycling an old river barge, turning it into a bathing place for the people of Berlin. The proposal has brought about a new social relationship between the city and the river, producing a re-activation of all this stretch of the banks of the Spree.
